Code of Conduct
Furry Studies has a zero tolerance policy on toxic behaviours. It is a requirement for everyone, including the staff and attendees to act respectfully and responsibly. This includes both in-person and online attendees, and extends to after-hours events.
Pacific Lutheran University has its own extensive Code of Conduct. If you have any questions or would like to report issues, contact hello@furrystudies.org.

Furry Studies 2025 offers both in-person and online streaming options. For online, access details will be sent directly to ticket holders.

Travel
Air: Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA).
- Public transit from the airport takes about 90-120 minutes via Sound Transit and typically costs $5.
- Driving from the airport takes 30-60 minutes.
- Van service is available but prohibitively expensive (at least US$80 each way).

Train (Amtrak): 422 East 25th Street, Tacoma, WA 98421; then public transit to PLU, ideally on Bus #1 ($2, 45-60 minutes).
Public transit
- The area is served by Sound Transit.
- Be prepared: They don’t accept credit or debit cards! See Sound Transit’s payment page.
- The nearest bus stop is at Pacific Avenue S and Garfield Street S. about 500 meters away from the venue (5-10 minutes’ walk.) It’s served by Bus #1. (Not to be confused with light rail #1.)
- The stop at 116th Street S & Park Avenue (650 meters, 7-14 minutes’ walk) is served by Bus #55.

Accessibility

Furry Studies will be streamed for registered participants. Further accessibility details on the stream will be sent to ticket holders.
Fursuiting
Fursuiting and other PG-rated costuming is permitted at the Furry Studies conference. However, there is no dedicated changing or storage space (“Headless Lounge”). Attendees can store items in the conference space at their own risk.
